Questions
Emporia Classic Charger FAQs
Anything else, just ask in the enquiry form or call.
Plug-in or hardwired?
Either. Hardwired allows up to 48A; the plug-in version runs at up to 40A on a NEMA 14-50 outlet. I recommend what suits your panel.
Can it go outside?
Yes. It is NEMA 4-rated for indoor or outdoor installation.
Classic or Pro?
If your panel has spare capacity, the Classic is a great choice. If capacity is tight or you have solar, the Pro usually makes more sense.
